IO Esports and Epulze, the organizers of the Dota 2 Bali Major, have announced the addition of Indonesian computing company and internet provider BizNet to their esteemed list of sponsors.

As the Major’s official internet partner, BizNet will play a vital role in delivering internet connections and infrastructure to the game servers and the overall event.

This marks a significant milestone as the Bali Major becomes the first Dota 2 Pro Circuit Major tournament to take place in Indonesia, proudly hosted on BizNet’s home soil.

Taking place from July 7th to 9th, the Bali Major promises an exciting competition, with 18 teams vying for a share of the impressive $500,000 (~£330,000) prize pool. It also presents a final opportunity for teams to secure a qualification spot at The International 2023, scheduled to be held in Seattle.

Notably, the Indonesian event has already encountered its fair share of intense moments. Just yesterday, controversy arose when it was discovered that BetBoom player Ivan ‘Pure’ Moskalenko was caught watching a stream during a technical pause. This action is strictly prohibited by most esports tournament organizers due to its potential to grant players an unfair advantage.

BizNet joins an esteemed lineup of sponsors, including renowned Swedish clothing brand H&M, esports analytics company Shikenso, esports data company GRID, prominent betting company 1xBet, and leading gaming chair manufacturer DXRacer.

Adi Kusma, President Director at Biznet, expressed his pride in the partnership, stating that Biznet recognizes online gaming as a leading platform that enables people to create memorable experiences and stay connected with friends.

He further commented that Biznet is extremely proud to be involved in the event by offering their services and expertise, ensuring a seamless operation of the Bali Major for both players and fans attending the live venue, as well as those tuning in from around the world.

The collaboration between BizNet and the Dota 2 Bali Major serves as a testament to the growing prominence of esports in Indonesia, as well as the expanding support from diverse industry sectors. With BizNet’s contribution as the official internet partner, the event is poised to provide an unforgettable experience for players and fans alike.
